        Within the scope of the "Regulation on Academic Evaluation and Quality Development in Higher Education Institutions" prepared by the Council of Higher Education based on Articles 7 and 65 of the "Higher Education Law No. 2547" and published in the Official Gazette dated 20.09.2005 and numbered 25942:
        Within the framework of nationally and internationally recognised standards; to carry out studies to evaluate, accredit and inform the education, training, research activities and administrative services of veterinary medicine academic education institutions; to contribute to the improvement of the quality of veterinary medicine education in Turkey at an internationally competitive level and thus to carry out activities in order to further the welfare of the society by raising qualified veterinarians who comprehend current and developing technologies, are equipped with research-based knowledge and skills, have ethical principles and attitudes and have adopted the principle of lifelong learning; An association was established under the title of Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Veterinary Medicine Educational Institutions and Programmes.
  In addition to real persons, public and private legal entities that will support the objectives of VEDEK with their aims and activities may become members of our association.
        For the membership of real persons, an entrance fee of ...-TL is charged and the annual membership fee is ...-TL.
